Thirty Something

In case you haven’t noticed, lists of «30 Things Turning 30 in 2014» are springing up on the web.  Yes, it’s been thirty consecutive rounds since the year famously dreaded by Avril Blair’s big brother (George Orwell to the world).

I took a giant leap across the pond that year, «for three-year graduate studies»…
